As all of us do, we work hard to come play. I reached outto the captain and got an instant response. We talked and he made his recommendations. We booked the five hour for the next afternoon. Great communication, captain set us to go earlier in the day due to the conditions. We hooked up soon as we stopped and continued till we all had our limits. The mate Jackson was very attentive to us and especially our 8yo, he kept her on tight lines reeling them in. Awesome trip, will book again.

We had such a good day overall. Captain and Deckhand were the absolute best guys! if youre going to Orange Beach AL, give these guys your efforts! they work hard to make your trip well worth it! Caught great table fair and good memories! Dont forget the dremamine if the water is a little rough the night before. Youll have a blast! We are gunna eat good for a few days!!! 😊

Captain and deckhand were definitely in sync the entire trip. We took a 6hr charter and were catching fish approximately 20mins from leaving the dock. Hands down the best charter I’ve been on across 30A. They were excellent with the kids and would recommend for fisherman of all levels. Do not think twice, book Captain Herbert and his deckhand Max!

These guys are top notch! Starting off, Captain reached out the night before and offered up early departure the next day due to some possible bad weather in the afternoon. Then he put us on fish immediately when we hit the fishing grounds. First mate was absolutely awesome. Both him and the captain were in constant communication, letting our family know how far to let the bait drop, then BAM, fish on. Finished with some hook and cook right at the dock. Fantastic day!!! We had the absolute best experience with Captain Corey and his first mate, Braden, on the Wahoodat Charter in Gulf Shores, Alabama! They made the trip unforgettable—not just for us adults, but for the kids as well. We limited out on red snapper and even landed a few other great catches, including king mackerel, triggerfish (which we released since it was on the smaller side), and mahi mahi. All because Corey and Braden were an excellent team, and Corey went to exactly where the fish were biting. If they didn’t bite in about 10 min we moved to a new location.

Braden did an incredible job managing all the poles on deck and making sure everyone had the support they needed. Captain Corey went above and beyond to make sure the kids had fun and felt included the entire time.

The Wahoodat was spotless—these guys take excellent care of their boat and clean it after every single trip. On top of that, some of the proceeds go toward supporting research for Syngap Syndrome, which is especially meaningful as Captain Corey’s daughter is affected by it.

This was hands down the best charter experience we’ve ever had. If you’re in Gulf Shores, booking with Wahoodat Charters is an absolute must. I can’t say enough amazing things about the entire experience!
