We had a great day on the Lake with Dusty. Caught some nice bass. Not our first time out with Dusty and won't be our last.
We had the opportunity to go out on a fishing trip with Captain Dusty. We had a great time! Dusty got us into some spring crappies. It was a bit of a frenzy with all of the fish we were catching. In our group, we had 5 13 yr olds, and one adult. he was great getting us set up and helped with removing fish and untangling lines. He had tons of patience and knew exactly where the fish were! I would highly recommend DH custom Rods for any of your fishing trips!

Fishing with Captain Dusty was fantastic! He took us to some great spots on the lake where the whole family was able to catch fish. He was very patient with our beginners and helped and encouraged them the entire trip. We all had an amazing time. I highly recommend booking your fishing trip with him!
Super fun day! Started with lunch at Lord Fletchers where the charter was waiting for our party of 6. Powerful engine which made it fun just getting to the first fishing spots. Captain Dusty was extremely knowledgeable and patient since several of us have rarely fished. The group caught about 20 Northern and Bass with an almost Muskie catch. Our San Diego guests said it was the best day ever in Minnesota. We’ll be booking with Dusty again.
Captain Dusty taught us a new technique and it was very effective for all of us on-board. He was patient and helpful as we refined our skills. We caught so many bass that we lost count. There was plenty of room for all of us to fish comfortably. I highly recommend.
My 14 yr old and I went out and just hammered the bass. Capt Dusty was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the species and their environment. He was able to get us on the action very quick and we were catching bass within the first couple of casts. We were able to set the hook on some 5lbs fish and really experienced the different style of fight. The lake is beautiful and Capt Dusty was also very informative about many of the sights you will see. We will definitely be rebooking another future trip.
