We were a large group of 10 (7 kids and 3 adults) with this being the first time for most of the kids. We chose the 5 hr which was a perfect amount of time for the younger kids. The boat was a good size and the area inside was nice for the kids to sit down for awhile while moving spots. Capt Tristen and mate Ben did a fantastic job of putting the group on the fish and keeping us there. Ben was awesome and so patient and helpful with the kids. The captain found the fish however the dolphins also found us! We had a great time on the water but beware the dolphins will steal your fish. Would recommend both the captain and deck hand. They were very helpful in baiting lines, taking the fish off, and helping deal with the dolphins. We caught B-liners, trigger fish, and red snapper (that had to be thrown back due to the season).

Our original trip was planned on the TradeWinds but had to be rescheduled due to bad weather conditions.  We were rebooked on the Fairwaters II (which is owned by the same company) for the following day and had an amazing time.  We caught plenty of fish and had a great family experience.  The crew was very accommodating and helpful.  Our deckhand took the time to explain everything to us and we learned a lot about the different types of species of fish.  Overall it was a great experience... TradeWinds is the perfect boat for families that have young children. We had 3 boys ranging from 8yo - 5yo as well as two moms and dads plus a Granna. Everyone had an absolute blast. The boat layout was perfect - easy to walk from front to back with great safety protection. It also had ample seating inside with A/C where the kids and adults could take breaks from the sun. THE ENTIRE EXEPERIENCE WAS AMAZING FOR THE ADULTS AND THE KIDS. FROM START TO FINISH IT WAS FAST PACED AND ENJOYABLE. WE CAUGHT 100+ FISH FOR TRIP (KIDS EACH CAUGHT 10-15). WE WOULD PLAN ANOTHER TRIP AROUND AN EVENT WITH THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE AS A RESULT OF OUR EXPERIENCE. THE KIDS CAME AWAY FROM THE 5 HOUR FISHING TRIP ASKING IF THEY COULD DO IT AGAIN TOMORROW!
