  Perfect Fishing Experience to Celebrate a Birthday

  3 Hour Trip – Gatun Lake - 9:00 AM on August 21, 2026 • 3 adults

  We had an awesome time and couldn’t have asked for a better family fishing trip! The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and knew exactly where to take us to find fish. They set us up with good equipment, lures, and bait, and we caught snook, Oscar fish, jack crevalle, and peacock bass during the trip. We were celebrating our son’s birthday, and the crew made sure he had a great time, which made the experience even more special. They were also able to arrange round-trip transportation from Dreams Playa Bonita for an additional cost, which made the entire day very easy for us. As an unexpected bonus, we even saw monkeys on the way back! It was a perfect day, a lot of fun for our whole family, and one of the highlights of our trip to Panama. Highly recommend!

  Amazing Canal Fishing!

  5.5 Hour Trip - Gatun lake on July 8, 2026 • 2 adults

  We had a great time on this fishing trip. Roberto, our driver and guide, was amazing, and Carlos was a great captain. Carlos did a really good job reaching out beforehand to ask if there was anything we needed or wanted, what our preferences were, and what species we were hoping to target so he could have the right equipment ready and help make sure we had the best day possible. We went in July, which is not peak season, but we still caught a jack crevalle and a couple of peacock bass during the five-and-a-half-hour trip. They were very willing to go after the species we requested, and were able to make great plans for each species. We also saw monkeys, a toucan, and an alligator, which made the experience even better. We left at 6 a.m. and got to enjoy a gorgeous sunrise. The boat was very nice, the equipment was good, the location beyond incredible, and the whole experience was fun from start to finish. Transportation to and from our hotel was also very clean and convenient for the additional $70 fee. One practical tip: paying in cash may help avoid the credit card processing fee, so it is worth planning ahead if that matters to you. Overall, highly recommend.

  4 Hour Trip – Gatun Lake 12:30pm on September 25, 2025 • 1 adult

  Usually when you elect to go with one of the cheapest options you get what you pay for. This was not the case, before I even stepped foot on the boat the captain messaged me to prepare me, sent me photos of the previous days catch, and gave me perfect directions to get to the marina. I got there 30 minutes early and instead of just waiting for 12:30 to come around the captain said he was ready to go, giving me an extra 30 minutes of fishibg time. The boat was nice and the crew was also very freindly. Withen the first 5 minutes of fishing we already had cuaght a snook, after 10 minutes we had 3 snook and a red snapper! we continued to the rivers where we caught no less than 20 peacock bass (some of which were really nice size), some tiger fish, and some oscars. The crew worked the entire day to make sure that I was having fun and catching fish. Could truly not recommend Panama Fishing Trip more, I will for sure be back!

  our family had an awesome day out on the lake, not a minute was wasted. We caught so many peacock bass big and small and our son reeled in a big Snook! He’s been talking about it non-stop. Thanks for the amazing experience!

  This was such an amazing trip. The captain and crew were knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing time catching peacock bass and seeing monkeys.
