Half Day Trip (PM)3 adults

First off, the Gregory bothers are fantastic Captains. Second, this fishing adventure was just as exciting as it was with Keith’s brother. It was amazing. We limited out in about two hours, and did catch and release for the rest of the day. My wife caught the most and the largest. My brother caught the largest lady fish I had ever seen. If you are novice or experienced anglers, you will be amazed at how much fish you catch. Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to catch fish.

    We caught many large Reds! Captain was great and worked great with my grandson. He caught the largest fish in his lifetime (41 inch red) Plan on returning!!

    Afternoon evening 5 hours just around the island. Don’t think you have to ride out far or off shore to ring the bell. We caught big fish from start to finish!

    Captain Gregory exceeded all expectations. He began by keeping us informed during the booking process and giving us message and details about trip. He is as very friendly and made us comfortable before we even started fishing. We don’t bay fish so he explained equipment and what to expect. Captain Gregory put us on fish immediately. We moved to another spot to get a different environment and immediately started catching. Big ole strong dad got sick in swells and captain Gregory assured me lots of his clients get sick. He brought us to a 3rd spot in cove and caught more. I recovered and he brought us to a final spot which was the best. We caught 3 big reds that needed tags one over 40 inches. We caught speckled trout and (7) other species. The evening was a memory my son and I will remember forever. Thank you Captain Gregory for a wonderful afternoon and evening. My wife and I will be booking the October. Blessings on you and your family!😎

    Half Day Trip with Keith Gregory's Guide Service

    My son’s and I had a fantastic half day fishing trip with Keith Gregory’s Guide Service! Departing Port O’Connor shortly after sunrise, we made the short trip across Matagorda Bay to the Matagorda Ship Channel jetties. Despite a strong breeze and choppy seas, Captain Gregory navigated around the area and found spots where he could steady the boat and we could catch some fish. At first, he put us over an abundance of Sheepshead where we were able to pull in just under the bag limit in short order as well as a nice red drum to put in the cooler. From there, Captain Gregory used his expert knowledge of the area to find coves where the seas were a bit calmer so we could go after the “Bulls”. We were able to hook two monster “Bulls” and after several minutes of fighting, land one while the other made an appearance off the Port side before making one last push to escape, swimming under the boat and breaking the line. We made the trip back across the bay and met Larry who cleaned and bagged our catch and sent us home with over five pounds of filets. We will definitely use Captain Gregory’s services again and highly recommend Keith Gregory’s Guide Services for your next fishing adventure out of Port O’Conner, Texas!
