Did a solo charter with Capt. Anthony, and it was great!! I was a little nervous because I’m not great at fishing. Capt Anthony made me feel comfortably, was so patient and gave me so many tips. I literally got better at fishing in one trip! If you’re a woman that likes to fish but feel a little intimidated by it,  I’d highly recommend a trip with LiV Fishing.

Anthony was amazing!  He is a true fisherman with a literal lifetime of knowledge about the Gulf and fishing! He was intelligent and kind and able to articulate with ease the types of fish that were biting, their feeding habits, what they would eat, and where they would be at different times of day. He backed all that knowledge with results! We caught tons and gained a whole understanding of how the local ecosystem works. 10 out of 10 would recommend this trip over every other trip Ive made in the gulf!

Captain Anthony made our 1st deep sea fishing trip one to remember. He was great to communicate with prior to the trip. Before we even loaded up onto his boat, he had already been out and located where the fish would be. A quick boat ride and then it was time to fish. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and just a great guy to enjoy fishing with. This trip to Galveston was for my husband and my anniversary and our birthdays (all within the same week 😅).  We booked this fishing excursion as something fun and new to do before our cruise set out the following day and it was exactly what we were looking for. After our catch, Anthony gave us a recommendation of where we could take our fish somewhere local enjoy a “hook and cook” lunch. And his recommendation was perfect! Anthony really helped start anniverary/birthday trip off on the right foot and we couldn’t be more grateful. Even if you’re staying in a hotel with no car like we were, Uber was able to handle this trip, no problem. A great pre-cruise idea!
