Captain Aaron is the best. he was flexible and welcoming. we wanted to catch fish and he delivered. we were surrounded by fish, every time bait hit the water there was a bite. It was nonstop action the entire charter. We released a ton, we caught a 27 inch cobia, we caught enough large enough to keep. When we got back in Captain Aaron filleted our catch and suggested dinner at Snooks for a beautiful sunset and hook and cook of our catch. What an incredible experience!
We went out today with Sun King Charters and had an excellent experience. Captain Aaron was fantastic with our young kids, patient, engaging, and made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. The boat was very clean, well-kept, and comfortable, which made a big difference for our family. We had some questionable weather, but Captain Aaron worked hard to find a small weather window and was able to get us out safely, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great trip and a memorable experience for our family. I would highly recommend Sun King Charters for your next Florida Keys fishing trip.
Captain Aaron is great! He knows where to find the fish, and he is great at helping rig, bait, and cast rods. Our foursome really enjoyed a beautiful half day of sun, relaxing music, and fishing, and Aaron made it easy and enjoyable. We would go back out with Aaron again any time! As a side note, I have been on other charters where the captain and/or first mate treated the female passengers paternalistically. Aaron never made me feel second rate or like less of a fisherman, and you have no idea how refreshing that is. I don't think it would even occur to Aaron to treat his male and female passengers differently, which really meant a lot to me. Extra kudos to Aaron for being an all-around good human!
We had an absolutely fantastic chartered fishing trip in the Florida Keys this past weekend to celebratemy son's birthday, and Captain Aaron made it truly special! We had a 10 and a 16 year old (and 3 adults) on this fishing trip and Aaron, our guide, did an amazing job keeping lines baited and helping wherever he was needed. We lost a few hooks and he never skipped a beat putting new hooks on. We definitely will book with him in the future.
