We had an amazing time!  Captain Seth was thoughtful and informative. We were instantly welcomed and were completely comfortable asking any questions we had. The wildlife was incredible!  There were moments when Flying fish and Shearwater birds surrounded to the boat and we could see the action up close. Captain Seth Foreman went above and beyond to ensure that we caught fish and that we had an exceptional experience.  We caught 1 Ulua and 3 Otaru that we were able to keep. We also caught 1 trigger and 1 barracuda that were released. Not only did he explain the fishing techniques, he also talked about the beautiful history and culture of Hawaii. We hope we get to return to the Big Island soon and will definitely book another fishing trip with Captain Seth!  This experience is one we will never forget!

We had an absolutely epic day out on the water with Captain Seth! From the moment we left the dock, it was clear we were in the hands of a true expert. Captain Seth knows these waters like the back of his hand — he took us straight to where the action was. We landed a big tuna AND a record-breaking Blue Marlin! Capt. Seth is very personable, he wants to get to know his clients well to better understand what will make their experience fun and memorable. He made accommodations to make all in our party comfortable and happy!

He is a lifetime avid sportsman with a background in biology and science, with a great knowledge of Hawaiian culture. I learned a lot from him in our 7 hours together.

Capt Seth takes time to explain how and why he uses different lures a techniques. His center console boat is set up for fishing, is very comfortable and handles well.

I can’t remember a better day on the water! All that said the Captain is an awesome fisherman! We landed 1 25-30 lb Ono and a 25-30 lb Mahi and had a beautiful marlin strike that didn’t hook up.

I hope I’m fortunate enough to go out with Blue Zone again!!!

Captain Seth is extremely personable and a very competent and knowledgeable fishing guide! He has excellent equipment and employs many different techniques for Hawaiian game fish.
Top fish of the day was a nice Short-billed Spearfish (a rare trophy!) caught by my wife Roxane, and it was her birthday!!
Bonus experience— we happened on a humpback whale carcass being feasted on by several shark species!!
