We had a good trip with Gills and Bills and Captain Josh. We fished the northern end of the area and caught 29 speckled trout. Josh had to work at it as the fish on this trip were smaller - so it took us a while to get to our legal limits. Josh was persistent, moving his way from spot to spot catching a few at a time until we were finished . We really appreciated how hard he worked to find the fish. Used artificials the whole time . We would fish with him again.

Had a blast! Highly recommend. We have been with alot of guides trying to find one to stick with for a yearly trip. This is definitely the one, caught a lot of fish even though conditions were not fairable. Capt. Conlon with Gills and Bills was far above the rest. Got a limit of reds,didn’t take long Mr. Austin Woods was our captain he is very knowledgeable about the area, it was my son and I that was fishing. I would highly recommend Gills and Bills for your next trip, I will definitely book again when I return to Lake Charles.
