I had such a memorable experience with Captain Steve’s fishing tour, one I’ll truly never forget. We arrived a bit late due to a sudden bout of sickness on my end, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating from the start. We ended up splitting into two groups, and my friend and I had the pleasure of going out with Captain Dane, and he was an absolute standout. Dane was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable about Canyon lake. Even though I struggled with motion sickness for part of the trip, he never made me feel uncomfortable or like I was taking away from the experience. In fact, he stayed present, encouraged me, and helped me catch my very first fish which meant so much to me, especially since this trip was a birthday gift to myself. My friend, who has a bit more fishing experience, also had a great time and caught a few fish as well. The entire experience felt welcoming, relaxed, and genuine no pressure, just good energy and guidance. Big thank you to both Captain Steve and Captain Dane for making this such a positive and memorable outing. I would absolutely recommend this experience and look forward to coming back to redeem myself for round two!
Captain Steve did a great job teaching my kids how to cast spinning rods, work the bait, and got all of us on some good fish. We had a great time and would highly recommend for anyone looking for an experienced fishing guide. Will book again on our next trip to Canyon Lake.

Not much of a fisherman so figured chartering was best way to get started. Captain Steve was very helpful in helping me get the hang if it. Used top water baits and after a few strikes i was hooked!
