  Fishing Trip 8 Hours on April 1, 2026 • 6 adults

  Fishing was decent. The captain tried his best to put us on fish. We trolled on the way to Gordo Banks and caught a Mahi Mahi. We tried for a bit to catch tuna but it was too hot sitting in the sun. We trolled some more to try for more Mahi Mahi or wahoo. We hooked into a marlin but it got off by the boat. We also caught a silky shark. All in all, it was a good trip. The captain and mate were very friendly, informative, and helpful.

  Caught the biggest fish of our lives!

  Fishing Trip 8 Hours on April 6, 2026 • 4 adults

  We had a great time on La Sancha with Captain Ramon and his deck hand. We went out on a 7 hour trip and even though we only caught a few fish, one of them was a 250 pound Blue Marlin, that made the whole trip worth it! It was so much meat, we left it with the Captain to split with his deckhand and his family. The boat was also very comfortable and roomy so we enjoyed just crusing around and trolling for big catch!

  These guys are awesome! my son got a striped marlin! And my wife got a big wahoo! i fought a shark almost to the boat and he popped the line! couldn’t be prouder or happier of my family’s efforts today! Anyone can fish with these guys and be successful! make sure you bring plenty of sunscreen!

  Surprise Catch!

  Fishing Trip 8 Hours on April 24, 2026 • 2 adults

  Weather was beautiful, cool breeze and right temp. We would be just as contented if we just had a boat ride and no fish BUT we did catch 3 fish! Mahi Mahi, wahoo, & a shark!! The last one was a surprise as we were angling for a tuna. Baby shark was let go after a huge struggle to reel it in. Great time!

  Very good charter today. I have fished out of the San Jose marina many times and I think this was the best experience I’ve had. Ramon and his brother worked very hard and we caught both big tuna and Mahi Mahi. When they say the price includes everything, this is correct. You would normally spend over $100 for licenses, bait, lunch and processing. This was all included. Plan on booking them again next year.
