Our family comes to Pompano beach every year for Spring Break and we always fo a fishing trip. Captain TJ is a great captain and worked very hard all day to put us on fish. Our group had a great day and were lucky enough to get six blackfin tuna, a dolphin, and a trophy wahoo! It was a Beautiful morning for fishing however the fish just were not biting. We booked the sports fishing trip. My son whose birthday we were celebrating caught a Barracuda and that was it. no other bites. we asked to go to the reef so my grandson could possibly catch something. They then caught a few small grunts, and a Parrot fish. Wish we would have been told when we booked that the fish were not biting and maybe just do reef fishing. TJ took us out in the open ocean- he is obviously skilled and knowledgable and we felt completely comfortable with him. He took us far out where we caught some tuna, then we spent some time in shallow waters. It was a great time, we’re looking forward to next time!
