It was a slow day on the water, but Wendel and Robert work hard to try finding fish by using multiple techniques and trying different water depths. We did catch a couple Skipjack. Wendel offered us the fish. we said we would take one and tgey could have the other. Wendel then made us reservations at a resturant, where he would be dropping off our fish, for us to have gor lunch tomorrow.
I recommend them if your wanting to get on the water to fish while in Curacao.

We had an exceptional experience with La Menta Boattrips! The organization, charisma, and determination of the crew to provide a memorable fishing trip were remarkable. Despite the unusual and challenging weather conditions for June, which limited our techniques to trolling, the team went above and beyond to take us to the best spots, ensuring our safety in rough seas. At the end, they even prepared the fillet of the Wahoo we caught, allowing us to enjoy a delicious sashimi and grilled fish at our hotel. A fantastic experience, both on and off the boat!

The entire crew was extremely courteous and professional. Captain Wendel demonstrated deep knowledge and adaptability, reformulating the fishing plan in response to sudden weather changes, which proved highly effective. Additionally, they generously shared fishing insights and the best on-shore fishing spots in Curaçao - and even gave me a Mini LED Fishing Light!!

Boat and Equipment:
The boat is in excellent condition, with impeccable maintenance. After each catch, the crew promptly cleaned the deck, keeping everything organized. The fishing equipment is varied and of high quality, including a wide range of artificial and natural baits.

Although the weather conditions limited our catches, we managed to hook a 14 kg Wahoo, which made our day and provided a delightful meal!

We had a great fishing trip with a lot of fun. The crew was very friendly and funny. They gave us a lot of information about the different techniques and answered all our questions. At the end of the trip they prepared a tasty sashimi.
They also gave us good tips how to prepare the different types of fish.
We would definitely go again.

We booked the 1/2 day trip for three people. The crew arrived on time and were incredible. We started trolling almost as soon as we left the dock, but sadly the fish were not biting…  Except for one black fin tuna pulled in by my youngest. It was frustrating seeing the Mahi in the water, but being unable to lure them to bite. All in all, it was a great day. The boat was fantastic, the crew was attentive.
