We had an excellent time fishing. There was my husband and myself, our son and his wife, and their two children 8 & 4. Our 8 year-old grandson has talked about fishing for at least two years so our main goal was for him to catch a fish. He first caught a very small blackfin tuna followed by a medium tuna (still small) and then he caught a mackerel, big enough to take to the restaurant across the street and cook up for him. Overall good experience, a group of 5 of us went out and booked a half day inshore trip as some of the group members did not like the idea of being that far offshore, when we arrived we were told we were going to be going offshore, we just figured that it was due to the slow season for inshore fishing and went with it. i went on a solo fishing trip yesterday with captain carlos and cristian mate. they made my experience unforgettable! cristian was very nice and helpful. as soon as i got on the boat i told him that i wanted to catch a rooster fish, and indeed we did within the first hour! captain carlos was great as well. We also saw a mama and baby humpback whale and that just made the experience even better! next time im in Costa Rica i will book with them again! so much fun!
