We had a great morning out on the water with Capt Billy. We caught fish but the best part was talking with Billy and laughing at his jokes. Will definitely book again.

We booked a six hour off shore fishing trip and had a great time. Even though the warm water made it problematic, he found the right spots to find fish. We caught a nice sized Mahi and several large Spanish Mackerel. He then took us in closer where we caught another Spanish Mackerel using spooners. Captain Billy not only is an experienced fisherman, he is friendly and a great conversationalist. He took us to OIFC to weigh the fish and then cleaned them for us. We had a delicious dinner with enough for several more large meals. We will definitely book with him again.
My two boys ages 12 and 10 had a blast on their first fishing charter thanks to Captain Billy. The weather was extremely hot and so was the water which normally is not a good combination for fishing, but the captain did everything he could to make sure that these kids had a memorable experience . Words cannot express how happy it made me to see my boys having a good time on the water and the fact that the captain went out of his way to make sure that these kids caught fish made it all the better. We come to Ocean Isle yearly, and this will be part of our tradition . Thank you Captain Billy for an amazing day on the water ! 
We had such a great time out there! It was one of those trips where everything just clicked. We were catching black bass, grunts, and even some Spanish mackerel which made it so much fun. The captain was super easygoing but clearly knew exactly what he was doing, and that made the whole experience even better. It never felt rushed, just a really laid-back, good day on the water. Definitely one of those trips you leave already wanting to book again. We’ll for sure be back!
We booked a 2hr kids fishing trip with Capt. Baxley. We all had such a great time! Capt. Billy made us all feel welcome from the first hello. After a nice ride just a short piece off shore he had our boys fishing in minutes. he was well prepared, knowledgeable and just an all around nice guy! Dont hesitate, take the trip with him, I’m so glad we did, and we will be booking with him in the future for sure!!
i took my family on a half day charter with Captain Billy and we had a wonderful time! we hooked into a bonnethead shark and landed it! It was so cool and I will never forget it. Captain Billy was great and extremely knowledgeable. i would recommend this trip to anyone that wants a fun experience fishing on the ocean! thank I hope to book this trip again in the future. thank you Captain Billy for a very memorable experience!
