I’ve fished enough (fresh water) to know how fishing goes. It wasn’t a day of numbers, but it was one heckuva day regardless! Capt. David was great! He was determined to get Jake on a monster, and he did just that. After netting and sadly losing the BIGGEST cast net catch of bait (so many pogies it snapped the handline), we got a few bait fish from another friendly charter Capt and set out on the hunt. We stopped at a bridge, threw some lines and started watching rod tips. A couple of missed bites later, the fight was on! Jake jumped to the rod and all 90lbs of that young man fought for almost 10 minutes to land the biggest saltwater AND freshwater fish he’s ever caught. What a catch! 38” bull red…the very fish we were hoping and dreaming of catching. So happy that it was Jake who caught it and so happy Capt. David put us in the right spot! Capt. David is a friendly, genuine, knowledgeable, and savvy person and charter Captain. He made it a memorable experience for our trip…one we won’t forget. Thank you, Capt. David.  We’ll be reaching out again for our next saltwater trip!

David was fantastic! We had the best time. All three of us didn’t just catch fish. We caught fish we have never caught before. Of course, our teenage son had the catch of the day with a 27” red! Making great memories was as important to Captain David as it was for us. Highly recommend this excursion with Captain David if you’re looking for an experience to remember in Saint Augustine!

We traveled to FL for our 15 yest anniversary trip with our two kids: 11 and 13. Captain David was so easy and pleasant to work with from start to finish! He reached out to us a few days before the trip to understand what we were looking forward to, and then he remained in contact via text leading right up to the trip.
Captain David went above and beyond to ensure we caught a variety of fish, made the best recommendation ever to bring our fresh catch of the day over to Aunt Kate’s restaurant and have them fry it up for lunch! He cleaned all our fish for us at the end of the trip before he bagged it up and sent us off to the best lunch we had all week!

Captain David was also patient and so kind- out son had a stomachache towards the end and needed a restroom ASAP to avoid any accidents on the boat. Without any hesitation, Captain David zipped the boat right over to a dock where we could quickly get our son to the nearest restroom.

We are so grateful for this experience and highly recommend Capt. David to other families looking for a fishing adventure!

My husband, sons (11yo and 13yo) and I had such a great experience chartering with Captain Dave and Great White. He is very knowledgeable, engaging and patient. We caught so many fish, including an 8lb redfish and a10lb black drum. We also caught yellow mouth, whiting, trout and catfish. I would highly recommend this charter company and Capt. Dave!

Brought my dad here to Florida from Australia to fish unfortunately due to weather couldn’t go out deep sea so did 4 hours inshore and we caught some AWESOME fish. The Captain David was an absolute gentleman very experienced and calm. We caught mango snapper, trout and red fish! Had a blast he knew all the good spots and the boat he has is BEAUTIFUL - looks brand new and he had live bait and a great teacher for beginners. If we head back again we definitely give David a call! What a great day on the water
