Maryann and Sean were absolutely awesome in every aspect.  We had another trip cancelled with a different captain the prior day and fortunately there was an opening for a 6 hour trip the next day with Boa Vida.  The boat was really nice and you could tell they took pride in taking care of it and the all the fishing gear.  We started off targeting some yellowtails to get some dinner first and pretty quickly for about 10 keepers along with a few others.  We then set out to troll in deeper waters in hopes of catching some bigger fish.  Both my son and daughter , 10 and 13, caught blackfin tuna and they were really excited about that.  It definitely took some patience, but Maryann and Sean did everything they could to make sure both kids got something they could feel good about.  They were great with the kids and super friendly to chat with.  I would book with them in a heartbeat next time we’re in town and would recommend to anyone else looking for a fun time fishing in Key West

We had a fantastic day on the water with Captain Maryann and first mate Ryan. Both were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about fishing. We were hoping to catch some mahi and knew it could be a tough time of year, but they worked hard and delivered. We ended the day with three mahi and a skipjack. Captain MaryAnn and Ryan also gave excellent recommendations for catch-and-cook spots and other restaurants to visit before leaving the Keys, and every single recommendation was spot-on.

What a great fishing trip we had. We did a half day trip with 6 family members, and we had a blast. The only thing that could have been better was if we had done a full day. We had a 9 and 12 year old that had the time of their life! Us adults were catching fish too but the attention the boys got from Caption Mary Ann and First Mate Sean was fantastic! We made some wonderful memories. The boat was clean and perfectly maintained. They are pros at what they do. If you don’t hook up with this charter you will really be missing out on a fantastic experience.

We had a party at 4 that went out on a 3/4 day offshore trip. The first half we were trolling and the second half we were reed fishing. Although the fishing was a bit slow, including the other boats we were in communication with, Captain Maryann and Sean did an amazing job doing their best to put us on fish. We were able to reel in some yellowtail snapper and a nice red grouper that was just undersize so we had to throw him back. We landed a massive Spanish Mack as well. I would strongly recommend Boa Vida charters. I will definitely use them on my next trip.
