My wife, grandson and I took this fishing trip in June 2026. We caught lots of fish and really enjoyed the six-hour fishing trip!!!!! The Captain and the mate were very friendly and took care of all our needs. The price was very reasonable when compared to similar fishing trips.

I was very nervous about this trip as it was just me and my two sons, age 6 and 10. Immediately there was no reason to be. We hopped right on, took a nice ride out to a couple spots and quickly hit our max in Vermillion Snapper. Followed that up with trolling for Spanish Mackerel. We had a BLAST! This was our 3rd charter with Long Shot! This time we brought my Daddy to celebrate his 75th birthday. Joe did a great job putting us on the fish! Although we battled the sharks & dolphins for our catch, Dusty worked hard to help us! We caught some great fish, including several species of Snapper. The first trip we were bothered by a dolphin so we had a limited catch (2 keepers, about 5 “returns”)! However, Joe and Dusty earned a second tour! The second day much better 1st half! Bothered by another dolphin the second half. Ended with 2 Mahi Mahi, 2 Red Grouper, 2 Snappers, and 7 Bee Lines. For us it will become a great family memory!
