My son Gabe and I had a great time with Matt offshore fishing. He was very communicative and helpful during the days leading up to the trip. He was on time and ready with a nice and clean boat and all the accessories you can think of. He was patient and a great teacher. We caught a 50+ pound kin mackarel that we will remember for a long time, along with cobias, sea bass and red snappers. Add an incidental shark or two! Highly recommended!

great experience overall! I really appreciate the captain going above and beyond, especially with the lack of bites. I was having a great time and honestly wasn’t too pressed about catching fish—I was there more for the experience and spending time with family. The captain took us to multiple spots trying to make something happen, and even stayed out a bit longer to give us another shot, which I really appreciated. One of the best fishing trips I’ve ever been on. His experience and knowledge will put you on fish. We caught a lot of fish. As far as Captain Matt goes, he is the best captain I’ve ever fished with. Capt Matt’s trips would be great for any level of experience and any age. One thing I can honestly say when booking a trip with him is to have an amazing time and be prepared to come back, tired from catching all the fish.

There isn’t an option to give half stars or i would’ve given this a 4.5.  Captain Matt was great.  Easy to communicate with. The weather was also great.  Captain Matt worked hard to get us on the fish.  Multiple tactics, spots and baits.  Today was just not our day.  We only landed a few sheepshead, but had a good time doing it.  Captain Matt even gave us an extra 30 minutes (free of charge) to try to catch a few more.  All in all a good experience and i would recommend.
