Had an amazing time on this fishing charter, couldn’t recommend it enough. The captain went above and beyond the whole trip, especially helping my girlfriend catch her very first fish, which made the experience even more special.

To top it off, we landed a 35+ pound catfish, and he didn’t just stop there, he cleaned and filleted it for us right on the spot. We took it home, deep fried it, and made sandwiches later… absolutely unreal.

Everything about this trip was exactly what we hoped for and more. If you’re thinking about booking, do it, you won’t regret it.

What an unforgettable fishing trip! It was the five of us, me, my husband, and our three boys (13, 11, and 7), and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The captain was absolutely amazing. He baited our hooks with live eels, taught the boys everything they needed to know, and made the whole trip fun and easy.

The boat ride itself was beautiful, a nice long cruise with perfect weather, and when we got to the spot, he knew exactly where to go. We caught some massive rockfish, and the captain even cleaned and bagged them up for us. We grilled them when we got home, and they were delicious!

He was so friendly, patient, and great with the kids. We all had a blast and are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend, five stars all the way!

I went out with my two sons for a rockfish trip and we had an incredible time from start to finish. The weather was perfect, and the experience couldn’t have been better. Our guide was kind, patient, and clearly knowledgeable — he made sure everyone was comfortable and engaged the whole trip.

We caught a lot of rockfish, and both of my boys landed their personal bests, which made the day even more special. The boat was well-equipped, the guide knew exactly where to go, and he took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy for the kids to understand and enjoy.

Our group was more interested in catching fish than a particular type of fish.  So, Captain Rich knew where to go.  It is so much fun when you are catching fish the whole time you are out.  Each of us who were fishing lost count of how many fish we caught.  It was that many.  We threw much more back than we kept.  I hope to go again on the Vista Lady in the future.
