We just finished our fishing trip and it truly was fantastic. They were so kind and patient with our 9 year old. They taught him how to cast, reel, and answered all of our questions. If we ever make our way back to Gulfport, we will 100% be fishing with them again.
Did a half-day trip out of Gulfport with Daley Charters and couldn't have asked for a better morning. Dailey put us on fish fast — we caught our limit of redfish and then switched to catch and release just to keep the rods bending. What stood out was the teamwork. They had a couple of boats running, and the captains were in constant communication, calling out schools so everybody got on the good spots. That kind of coordination is the difference between a slow day and a great one. Easy, professional, and genuinely fun. If you're looking for a charter in the Gulfport area, book with these guys.
Our Captain was Captain Daily himself!!! The entire charter crew was amazing right from the start. We left almost immediately. The weather was perfect!!! The Captain was very personable and interested in what we wanted out of our trip. He was so friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. We asked lots of questions about the area and so much more. I wanted to catch RedFish and I wanted to do it myself. He was very patient with me and helped that to happen. Then I really wanted to catch a shark. And we did. We caught big beautiful fish!!! But what was the most impressive was Captains knife skills. He was a wizard!!! We had the beat trip and cant wait to come back again.
Captain Chris was very good with communication. He reached out several times before the scheduled trip. Weather was an issue and he wanted the best experience for me. He suggested delaying the trip one day for the water to calm. The boat was stocked with everything needed. The crewman (Dustin) went out of his way to make fishing pleasant. Gulfport had recently had tons of rain fall. Captain Chris tried everything to find fish but they just weren’t biting. Certainly not for a lack of effort. Even the other charters struck out. I would like to try again when the weather levels out and would absolutely rebook with Dailey Charters!
We came all the way from Savannah as a group of three—my uncle and a newlywed couple—and we couldn’t have asked for a better fishing trip! Captain Chris was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience so much fun. We caught some great fish and had an amazing time on the water. Definitely worth the drive from Savannah. We’ll absolutely be back! Highly recommend!
Dailey Charter was the BEST choice ever for a Birthday trip!! We LOVED Dailey. He was very knowledgeable. He knew the fish, the boats, the surrounding islands and shared info on each of them. We were fishing and learning at the same time. My son went fishing with friends on his 13th birthday at the lake, so for his 30th birthday we went out to sea. We caught Spanish Macrel, Crevalle Jacks (huge), and one Gaftopsail Catfish. Best Birthday Fun!!!
