  6-Hour Striper/Bluefish Trip on July 20, 2026 • 4 adults

  Great weather, great captain/crew and great fishing! We caught a couple keepers and threw some big ones back. This was our second time out with Captain Doug. St pete’s sports fishing is the GOAT, they know how to get fish on the hook and are extremely professional. We will definitely be back to catch some more and hopefully for years to come. Oh and absolutely never bring a banana on captain Doug’s boat or you’re in for a long day ! LOL

  Thank you so much for the awesome review and for fishing with us again! We really appreciate your continued support. It was one of those days where we had to put in the work. The fish made us earn them, but after a couple of hours of searching, we found them and ended up putting together a solid catch with a few keepers for the cooler and some nice fish released to fight another day. That's what makes fishing so rewarding! Your kind words about our crew and professionalism mean a lot. We always do our best to make every trip enjoyable, no matter how hard the fish make us work. Hearing that you consider St. Pete's Sport Fishing the GOAT is a huge compliment! As for the banana... I'm still not convinced one didn't sneak aboard. I have my suspicions that Joe might have been the culprit! 😂 We'll have to inspect his gear a little more closely next time. Thanks again for spending another day on the water with us.   Amazing trip

  4-1/2 Hour Striper/Bluefish Trip - 12:15 PM on July 16, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 children

  Great trip! Perfect with 2 boys, a 5 and 7 year old! The captain and first mate bob were knowledgeable, friendly and great with the boys! We caught so many fish that the boys were spoiled and were upset if we went more than a couple minutes without hooking up! Luckily that lnly happened a couple times during the whole outing!

  Thank you so much for the wonderful review! It was a pleasure spending the day on the water with you and your boys. Seeing young anglers get excited every time a rod bends is one of the best parts of my job, and I'm glad Joe and I could keep the action coming for them. Their disappointment after going a whole couple of minutes without a fish definitely gave us a laugh!   4-1/2 Hour Striper/Bluefish Trip - 12:15 PM on June 29, 2026 • 2 adults

  My son and I went out on a warm, calm afternoon. Not classic fishing weather or time of day. Captain Doug and Mate Joe got us on the fish anyway and we brought in a haul of striped bass. What a day! These guys know how to get on the fish.

You're right—it wasn't exactly textbook striper conditions, but that's what makes days like that even more rewarding.   Captain Doug and his first mate Joe are fantastic. This was our second time out with Doug and I will say without hesitation, it won’t be our last. We caught some big stripers and had lots of fun doing it!
