Today was another great day on the water. We caught 45+ trout and topped out of keepers at 15. Tyler put us on the fish from the start and had a terrific family time together. The water was flat abd the morning was the tine to go. We will be back again with Tyler again next summer.
Exceeded all expectations! My six year old son loved his 2 hour fishing experience with Captain T. The whole crew was so nice and he kept catching fish the entire time. My father in law caught a stingray and my son caught flounder…he snagged a few that were cleaned and brought back to our homestead and gently released the protected species. The Captain was very knowledgeable and showed our guy everything and was very patient with him. Thank you all for creating a memorable experience for life!
Captain Tyler with Carolina Traditions Fishing Charters put us on the fish all day! We caught an incredible 40-pound barracuda, a 21-pound king mackerel, and several more fish. Captain Tyler was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to make sure everyone had a great time. The boat and equipment were top-notch, and the entire experience was outstanding. I highly recommend Carolina Traditions Fishing Charters and will definitely be booking another trip!
We decided to book with Tyler because one day while visiting Southport, my husband and son were fishing off a dock and my husband had something strong on the line - Tyler happened to be passing by on his boat, “off the clock” by the way, and told my husband to hop on to chase it down. He coached my husband through reeling up a huge ray that he of course ended up releasing. Our 6 year old son loves fishing, but we do not have a boat. So we bring him on charters a few times a year, today with Tyler. We all learned a lot about different fishing methods, where the fish like to hide, got a few little guys, got one big red fish that Tyler filet for us, and just a beautiful day inshore. He’s a laid back guy who makes you comfortable on his boat. Great time! Great dude!
Captain Tyler was so personable and great with our kids. My boys caught 17 fish in the 2 hours and walked away with lifetime memories because of Captain Tyler. I would recommend this trip to anyone and everyone! 10/10 experience!!
Tyler was awesome!!!! He accommodated our hopes for the trip by going out further than he could guarantee fish and man he delivered. We did some offshore stuff to make sure we brought home something, then went out further and we all had the best fishing of our lives. Huge thanks to Tyler for a great day and timeless memories 😊.
