  the absolute best Captain and Crew

  5 Hour Trip on September 13, 2026 • 10 adults • 2 children

  This was our second attempt to deep sea fish and this trip absolutely did not disappoint. We had a big group with teenagers, and the captain and crew did everything they could to make sure everyone was having a good time. We started catching fish as soon as the bait hit the water. If for some reason it slowed down, onto a different place we went. The crew was always willing to jump in and help or give guidance. You will not be disappointed!

  Our fishing trip was hands down one of the highlights of our vacation. The boat was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and ha everything we needed for a great day out on the water. The captain and first mates were amazing. They were knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone had a great experience. They were always ready to help with baiting, fishing, and everything in between. We had an absolute blast and made memories we will be talking about for years.   Fantastic crew!

  4 Hour Kid's catch&release Trip on July 29, 2026 • 7 adults • 4 children

  Our group had an amazing experience with the Hard Charger despite over half of us getting seasick. We had 3 adults and 4 kids with us. Captain Craig, 1st mates Andy and Andrew were all so kind and professional! The water was really choppy the day of our trip but Captain Craig found a sweet spot right away! The group was catching fish as soon as the line was dropped in the water! Although we decided to cut the trip short due to most of the group falling sick, we still were able to catch plenty of fish and say we did it! The crew was understanding and offered us all words of encouragement when we were feeling bummed out about deciding to cut the trip short! We will absolutely be back to visit the Hard Charger, but with plenty of premedication on our parts!

  5 Hour Trip Summer (PM) on July 3, 2026 • 5 adults • 2 children

  Our family of five had an amazing fishing trip! Captain Craig and First Mate Andrew made the entire experience enjoyable from the moment we left the dock. The boat was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for our family. The air conditioned cabin was a huge bonus, giving our little ones a place to cool off, relax, and even take a nap when they needed a break. Having a bathroom onboard was another luxury that made the trip even more comfortable. Captain Craig did a great job putting us on the fish, and Andrew was outstanding. He stayed busy the entire trip baiting hooks, taking fish off the lines, untangling things, and making sure everyone had what they needed. As complete beginners, we really appreciated how patient he was. He took the time to answer our questions, offer tips, and made sure everyone was having a great time. Overall, it was an awesome experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for a family friendly charter with a knowledgeable captain and an incredible first mate, I highly recommend booking with Captain Craig and Andrew. We’d absolutely fish with them again.

  Best fishing charter we’ve experienced so far!!!

  5 Hour Trip Summer (PM) on June 8, 2026 • 7 adults • 1 child

  After the last 4-5 years of getting fishing charters in Florida/South Texas, we wished we had discovered Craig and the Hard Charger a whole lot sooner!! We had a group of 7 total, and all had plenty of room. The bites were insane, Craig and AJ were lightning fast re-baiting. Very fast and efficient fisherman, very professional and answered any question we had no matter what it was. We opted for the 6 hour trip and came back to the dock with a barrel full of fish. If you want a truly great charter experience, I would recommend this group. We already have plans of coming back next year using this same service. The price is very competitive with surrounding charters. Can’t wait to come back!!!
