  An awesome trip!

  Summer Half Day Trip (4 hrs) - 8:00 AM on July 16, 2026 • 2 adults

  We booked a half day with Captain Owen for my son's 7th birthday, and we had a blast! Before the trip, Owen was great about communicating and coordinating logistics, and promptly and helpfully answered any questions had. On the trip he was skilled, knowledgeable, and happy to share is expertise, and he was great with my son, patiently answering questions, helping him reel and hold the fish, and responding to our son's various suggestions haha. Owen picks the fishing spots, does all the baiting and casting, and then lets everyone else do the reeling when theres a bite. We hauled in 10 catfish in total and took home about 14 fillets, so many that we were able to give some to the in-laws and neighbors. It was an all around great trip and great memories for my son's birthday.

  Fantastic Fishing Trip with Captain Owen!

  We had an amazing trip with Captain Owen! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun from start to finish. He went above and beyond by moving us to several different spots to make sure we had the best chance of catching fish, and his hard work definitely paid off! He kept us entertained with great stories and a good sense of humor, making the trip enjoyable even between bites. To top it off, he cleaned and filleted our catch for us, which was greatly appreciated! I highly recommend Captain Owen. We’d absolutely book with him again!

  The Best First Fishing Experience For My Kids!

  I booked this trip as a birthday present for my kids. It was a wonderful experience and my children each got to reel in many fish on their own. We have so many memorable pictures and my kids are already asking to go fishing again. Captain Owen is an amazing captain and host who is great with children and took us to all the great spots. He is very communicative and flexible and knows a ton about not just fishing but also Potomac River and DC history. Highly recommend this company and will return for another trip. 5 Stars!

  Captain Owen did a phenomenal job. He provided the best experience for my family on his four hour trip along the Potomac river. Owen had 6 lines out at any given time. We caught 14 catfish with a monster 32 pound catfish to finish out our 4th of July weekend. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. He provided water, gatorade, and all the equipment. My 10 year old had the best experience of his life. Thank you Captain Owen.
