Good times with the children. Made some great memories. Children already asking to return. Mostly caught trout and catfish but even caught a large drum.
We went on a halfday fishing trip for my boyfriend's birthday. Jason was great communicating with us ahead of time (we had to reschedule from our original trip date due to weather). He was very patient with me (as it was my first time fishing) and let my boyfriend do his thing while offering inpoint when asked. While the fishing wasn't as great as some recent days (per Jason), Jason never stopped looking for the bite and all told, we ended up with 14 fish (a variety - speckled trout, croker, some catfish, and a large black drum). In addition, Jason truly went above and beyond and stayed out late with us to ensure we got a few more fish. He even brought the fish to a nearby restaurant where we were eating (so we could get there before it closed!). Highly recommend this fishing charter and we will be back!

I’ve been fishing in Lake Pontchartrain with Captain Jason a few times now and I always leave happier than I arrived! He’s knowledgable and very helpful with the kids. He goes out of his way to ensure we have a stress-free time: he baits our hooks, runs over with the scoop net for the heavier fish, and provides enough snacks and drinks to last all day. If you’re thinking about booking, just do it!

Jason was outstanding. Found the fish in 15 minutes. Was my son's first time fishing on a boat and he was very helpful. He was so dialed in on the trout that I accidentally caught one when I released my line without knowing it messing with my camera. Good tunes, great guy, great time. We'll be back!

Family of 4 with two boys, 9 and 12. Jason was great to work with. He was very easy going. Not only was he extremely patient with the kids, it seemed like he genuinely enjoyed taking them out. We stopped and several different spots and caught fish at them all. We all had a blast and would recommend booking Jason!
