6 of us went out for 6 hours and we had a blast. Capt Steele was extremely knowledgeable and even more friendly. We got a Mahi Mahi on our first bait cast and plenty of Barracuda after that. Next time we book, we’re definitely going to check Capt Steele’s availability first.

Had a bit of a rough week weather wise for fishing but Captain Steele was all over it. Called an audible on the fishing location the morning of our trip. After filling the bait wells with one throw of the cast net we headed to the fishing grounds. Within 20 minutes we had our limit of 30-40lb Amberjacks. We were worn out. We could have continued in that spot reeling in (and releasing) many times our limit but elected to go off in search of some other species. Within minutes of reaching the 2nd location we had a mahi on the boat. Great trip. Captain Steele is a hard working captain who knows his stuff and knows how to read the situation with wind and recent weather to put you on the fish. we had a great time. Thanks Captain Steele!

We booked this trip in celebration of our son turning 9 - Captain Steele did an excellent job of catering the trip to the birthday boy and his brother! Captain Steele made sure the kids caught something before introducing the opportinity to catch a shark (which we did!!) I couldnt recommend Captain Steele highly enough! A true professional.
We had a fantastic girls trip out on the water with Captain Steele! He knew exactly where to catch the fish and even put us right on top of the shark for our best chance to catch one! The 4 hour trip was perfect and the boat is beautiful! Outstanding outfit- will use Catherine Anne any time we’re in Southport! All details are taken care of, super easy, fun and exciting trip!!

The fish didn’t want to bite today. We had to work for the fish that we brought home, but that’s fishing. Captain Steele put us on-top of fish, but for whatever reason they weren’t interested. Caught fish today that I’ve never caught (False Albicore and Needle fish) before.. Also we caught Red Snapper, Sea Bass, Red Vermillion Snapper and shark.

Capt. Steele was very communicative and an incredible guy! Conditions were tough offshore so we went inshore and after some break offs we train a few different spots until Capt. Steele put us in the bite. It wasn’t the best bite that day but Capt. Steele worked tirelessly and got us on the fish and sent us home with dinner. A fantastic boat and quality gear and great hospitality and expertise got us a great day and good memories. Steele even gave us a lunch recommendation that hit the spot!
