Our four hour trip with Captain Jason and West edge fishing was simply amazing. We caught two Coho, one Chinook, and a couple of other rock cod species we let go. All aspects of our day exceeded expectations by far. We’re looking forward to another trip in the near future.

Jason was fantastic! He knew good spots and communicated with his fellow captains to know where the fish were that day. He was knowledgeable and fun. We caught many fish and 5 keepers, including 2 coho salmon, 2 chinook salmon and a halibut. We even got to feed an eagle a rock bass we had a blast! And we saw dolphins.

Our grandson had his first fishing experience on the ocean and it ranked number one on his list. He caught at least 9 huge specimens. The captain taught him a lot and was helpful in every way. It was definitely the highpoint of his trip to Vancouver Island!

Jason was a knowledgeable and very friendly fishing guide. He was patient and helpful with some newbies. He took us straight to a good spot where we caught 3 big salmon, plus 2 that were lucky and got away! It has been a highlight of our honeymoon trip.

Visiting from thr UK this was one for the memory banks. Capt. Jason is a superb skipper, got me on the fish, knew the spots and had great chat and conversation for the outing. Highly recommend.
