It is a $750 nightmare/horrible trip.

It is a complete waste of $750. We saw New Lattitude Sportfishing Charters online and its positive reviews, me and my husband would love to show our friends who are visiting from overseas a South Florida classic sport fishing experience. How could we have known it is the beginning of a NIGHTMARE. My husband texted the captain in the morning to confirm the weather is suitable since the weather forecast shows 80% thunderstorms and it is very grey outside. Even knowing we would lose 20% of the deposit we were still willing to cancel the trip. The captain replied: the weather today will be fine. So we believed, we thought the captain knows better,he is the expert. Who knows he is only saying that so they wouldn’t lose the money. After boarding the boat, we overheard the captain telling our captain (who didn’t own the boat) “If you smell anything weird or see steam, let me know. That boat’s almost out of commission.” This was because we were double booked and kicked off the boat (Lattitude) and put on another boat with a different captain. As we were sailing out, we were making conversation with the crew members and asked how bad the weather had to be for them to cancel. This is what he said: we only cancel when we don’t need the money. This was as we exited the inlet with strong winds, lightning and choppy water. The weather ended up being really bad, the water was rough and everyone got seasick. My friend fell on the boat and his knee started bleeding and THERE WAS NO BASIC FIRST KIT ON THE BOAT!!!!!! We ended up returning to port early because the weather was so bad and all we caught was seaweed. Unfortunately the business cares more about taking money than providing a pleasant experience.
