The day before the trip, captain mike called me and informed me that he sold the boat we booked. He offered a full refund or we could go with his friend Captain Ken. We ended up going with Ken and the trip was amazing. Put us on good fish, and caught our limit. Will book with him again.
Started out trying to specifically catch tuna. When Captain Ken knew it wasn’t going to work, we moved to a new location and started bottom fishing and boy, did we get on the fish and have a blast. Our deck hand Jay did a fantastic job keeping everyone baited, and even Ken stepped in when needed. My family had a great day of fishing, and we highly recommend Big Shooter Fishing Charter for anyone who’s looking to catch all types of fish and have a great time.

Unfortunately, we only landed one Bonita. The captain, Ken Sanders and the deckhand, Keith worked their tails off to put us on fish. We almost landed a monster Cobia, but it spit the hook out right next to the boat. It was just one of those days where the fish weren’t cooperating!
