Captain Matt was great!  Weather was not.  Wind blowing, murky water, terrible conditions. Captain Matt called us the day before and offered to cancel due to weather if we didn’t want to fish in pretty rough conditions.  We decided to still go for it.  Tried couple of different spots and got us on the fish.  We caught multiple red fish and catfish.  It was a blast!  Biggest red was over 19lbs.  Captain Matt is very knowledgeable, loves what he is doing and was an awesome guide.  We will be his repeat clients going forward.  Highly recommended!!!  Thank you Captain Matt

Second time we’ve been out with Grace Fishing Charters and this time was just as enjoyable as the first. Matt and Aaron are both great people who will work like crazy to put you on fish. This trip wasn’t as “successful” as the first, but it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying and we literally had just as much fun as the first trip. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. If you’re using guides in Galveston, do yourself a favor and go out with Matt or Aaron.

Morning had a pretty slow bite. Capt. Grace was determined to get us on some fish. We bounced around a few spots throughout the morning and we’re able to get into some smaller trout. After not having a whole lot of luck with the trout we decided to head out and go for some sharks. We ended up landing some solid sharks and loved every bit of it. Sometimes you have slow days on the water. Capt. Grace was able to make the best of our slow day and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Captain Matt and Captain Aaron were excellent fishing guides!  We fished the jetties and a variety of other structures to find our fish. Both guides out us on the fish!

Both are extremely knowledgeable of the East bay complex. The boats are clean and roomy. Both boats were Boston Whalers with solid engines.  Both captains were very kind and respectful of our needs. Both were fun, informative and interesting. We will definitely fish with Grace charters again!

Aaron and Matt are both great people and know the spots and got us on fish both days. First day we went for spotted trout and got our limit. Second day we went for bull red drum and landed 3. Recommend them to anyone looking to fish the Galveston Bay area.
