Captain Jeremy greeted us at the boat when we arrived, within 10 minutes he had given us the safety briefing and made my three grandsons and I feel like family, and were on our way out onto the Lake. He was very knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. I can’t stress enough how comfortable he made us feel. He rigged all of our poles and almost immediately we began catching walleye! Big ones!! We of course had a few tangled lines and Capt. Jeremy deftly handled those with a smile and patience. Then, back at the dock, our catch was percectly cleaned…this is a full-service charter with friendly pros who take good care of you!!
We had an amazing day on Lake Erie catching multiple walleye! Our captain was Jeff - he was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to ensure “line management” and “controlled chaos!” You will learn these terms with him! The boat was clean and comfortable, and the scenery on the lake was beautiful. We were the only ones out there which surely allowed us to catch plenty of walleye and made some great family memories. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and successful fishing trip, I highly recommend this lovely family friendly charter. We had an 10 and 14 year old with us. They loved it! Do make sure to take your dramamine! We would certainly book this trip again!
After reading a lot of reviews I decided to book a half day with Lake Erie Charter for my daughter and me. We had Robert as our captain and he was great at explaining everything to the both of us since it was our first time trolling (and fishing in Lake Erie). We ended up catching our limit of nice sized walleye well within our allotted four hour time and decided to head back in early as my 9 yr old was worn out from all of the reeling, lol. We did get to meet Tom, the owner, before we left and he seemed as polite and professional as our Captain. When we get a chance to go back I’ll definitely be a repeat customer as the experience for the both of us couldn’t have gone any better!
Captain Jeff was an awesome charter guide! We were a relatively inexperienced group and Jeff was very helpful instructing and helping us with everything which made for a great day of fishing. I would highly recommend! Thank you Captain Jeff!!
Jeff was a great captain—friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to teach while helping us catch fish. Unfortunately, everyone else in my group got seasick, so we had to end the trip early. Even so, in about an hour on the water, I caught 15 walleye. I can only imagine how great the fishing would have been if we’d been able to stay out longer. I’d definitely recommend booking with Jeff!
