12 Hour Trip – Coronado Islands 3 adults

Easy to work with. Fishing tough but still got fish. Gave us options to try things besides what trip was booked for because of length of trip. Will go back to pelican charters.

Thanks for coming out Darrell! Hope you guys enjoy all the bonito, whitefish, sculpin, red vermillion, yellowtail and blue fish that you guys caught. Too bad those barracuda's teeth ate through the line. If your group chose to stay at the Islands, we could have kept catching more of those fish and even tried fishing the 2nd Island for more. I give all my groups options and tell them whats going on in our local waters. To run offshore and hunt for tuna was a bonus option at my expense since it was a Coronado Islands booking. We did find lots of tuna flying in the air, but if only they were hungry. Again thanks for coming out and I'm sure that fish smoked with your seasonings will be tasty!! Captain Shaun

    Best Trophy Fishing Day EVER

    To say this trip was awesome is an understatement. Not only did we all catch fish but Captain Shaun made sure we all had a good time. First go I had a California Yellowtail on the hook and into the boat. My bro also had a Yellowtail on in no time. 3 of us went and we all had insane fish interaction. After awesome 10 minute fights each (and then some) we decided to try some rock fishing, which was a blast! Definitely nothing like it though when one of those California Yellowtails start pulling out your line! If we could redo the day and live it again we would in a heart beat. An amazing trip is now a lifelong memory. Thanks Capt Shaun, you kick ass!

    The best day on the water!

    My wife and I had the most amazing fishing trip with Captain Shaun Uyeda. He is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we both had a blast. He kept us right on the action, and we ended up catching an incredible 13 different species of fish! Shaun even cleaned our catch so we could take it home for a fresh fish dinner that night. His boat is spotless, the energy was fantastic, and it was the perfect day out together. We cannot wait to book with him again!

    Amazing fishing trap out of San Diego!

    Shaun was a great captain and engaging from the start. We were fishing with my teenage son and his friends. Shaun kept them interested, engaged and excited from beginning to end. Answering all of our questions, keeping our lines full of bait and pulling off the 30+ fish that we caught. The boys loved it and can't wait to go back. I highly recommend Shaun and his boat had everything we needed for a successful day out on the water.

We easily caught well over 100 fish, and the action was nonstop from start to finish. Captain Shaun’s knowledge of the area, the conditions, and the fish was truly impressive. He consistently put us on the fish, adjusted spots as needed, and explained everything in a way that made it fun and easy for the kids to learn.
