Father and son (10) - 6 hour coastline fishing trip in January.
Shaun was flexible with the timing of our trip to make sure that wave conditions were safe. We caught several types of fish including 2 sharks which was a huge highlight. We saw dolphins and pelicans. Shaun was fun and knowledgeable. We had a great day and would definitely recommend booking with Pelican.

Great trip. Bobby gave us some options to choose from: 1) stay close to shore, likely wider variety of species, smaller fish -or-  2) Go out about 45min to catch some meat. we chose the latter and were glad we did. Brought 29 fish home (out of over 60 fish caught), including 8 species of rockfish. Bobby is easy going but very attentive and always made sure everyone had the bait they needed and was untangled. It was a lot of fun, including having a whale swimming only a few yds from our boat, watching naval maneuvers from a distance and seeing an ocean sunfish.

I wanted to plan something memorable for my boys and I and this trip didn’t disappoint. Right off the bat Captain Bobby made us comfortable and gave us all the instruction needed. We had some huge catches and Bobby couldn’t have been better at helping us keeping our lines in the water and also educating us on current conditions, school movement and all the species and types we were catching. I’m so glad we went with Pelican Sportfishing because I couldn’t imagine a more fun, comfortable and memorable time with my sons.

Awesome trip to the Coronado islands! Had a great time with Captain Shaun. Super knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and took us to a bunch of spots with tons of fish bite(we caught 14 different species! ).
