HALF DAY TRIP WITH CAPTAIN TOM AND FIRST MATE JERRY
WHEN EVERYONE BOARDED THE BOAT WE LEARNED THAT WE NEEDED TO PURCHASE A FISHING LICENSE; WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADVISED AT THE TIME WE ESTABLISHED THE TRIP. WHEN WE DEPARTED THE DOCK WE LEARNED THAT THE BOAT HAD NO BAIT AND THEY WOULD TRAVEL TO GET BAIT. THEN WE WERE TOLD BAIT WAS NOT AVAILABLE OR SOLD ON SUNDAY'S. WE THEN FISHED FOR AN HOUR IN AN ATTEMPT TO CATCH BAIT WITH NO SUCCESS. SPENT 2 HOURS TROLLING AND ONLY CAUGHT 5 SMALL FISH (ONLY 2 KEEPERS). CREW STATED THAT FISHING WAS TERRIBLE THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS. SPENT ALOT OF MONEY FOR A 4 HOUR BOAT RIDE AND CREW DID NOT CLEAN FISH.
First NO one includes fishing license because you can buy them for a year or a month or a week and my boat is the same price up to 6 people so imagine 6 people buying licenses for a year $300 so it is not my responsibility to buy your licenses and NO ONE DOES! Second when they got on the boat I told them the wind has been blowing for days and there is no live bait for sale but we can try and if not we can troll lures and they agreed to give it a try and we did and no bait like I told them so we trolled lures and did pretty good. Inshore fishing is smaller fish! You do not catch marlin and sailfish inshore! I told them what to expect and we did better then that and I also suggested to go offshore but it was to far and long of a day for these fishermen! Also just to say thank god the fish were not any bigger because they had a hard time getting them in!
