The boat and equipment were excellent! We had a great day on the water. Captain Gary was nice and wanted us to catch fish. We had a great day!

As a local I’ve been on many fishing charters but Captain Gary is the best.  This was our first time out with Captain Gary.  He got us out to a spot quickly and immediately put us on fish.  His relaxed attitude and patience makes it a joy to fish with him.  He took us to multiple spots which all had fish.  We brought home grouper, snapper, and a trigger fish.  We even managed to hook 2 sharks.  All in all a great day with Captain Gary.  Can’t wait to get out there again with him.  Thank you Captain Gary !!

Gary took my husband and I over 30 miles offshore to fish for grouper and snapper. His boat is plenty big, we only had two in our party but it can easily fit 6 comfortably. We live in MI and have been on charters in the Great Lakes and Pacific NW but have never fished salt water before. We caught a lot more fish than we brought in, a lot of red grouper in fact, but they were under 20” so we had to throw them back. Only one was over. Gary said usually they pull on more big ones but it was still fun catching all those fish. It’s all bottom fishing so you go by feel which we like because it keeps you engaged and takes some skill. Gary said we caught almost every type of snapper out there…mutton, vermilion, American, and Lane. We cooked up the lane snapper that night and it was delicious!  Gary is a great captain and we would definitely recommend him.

After traveling all the way from Colorado to try some offshore fishing Captain Gary and crew did not disappoint! We were on fish from the start to the finish. Everyone caught lots of fish and after Captain Gary kindly pointed us in the direction of a restaurant that cooked our catch fresh for us just hours after returning to shore. I would strongly recommend Captain Gary to anyone and look forward with fishing with him again in the future! Thanks Captain Gary!!
