This was our son’s first big fishing trip and the Captain and deck hand really did their best to make it special - he got to hold the small shark and caught/released a 37” cobia.  We had rough morning weather, and the Captain adjusted the fishing accordingly to keep everyone safe and well.  The afternoon was really hot, and the A/C interior was great to let our son cool off a little between reeling them in!  A great day was had by all and we caught spanish mackerel, cobia and some small sharks. Really was fun!

This was our second year in a row out on the Top Dog with Captain Neil and Alex. What a top notch operation! We got on the fish right away in the morning and caught fish all day right until we came in. My 2 sons had a blast once again. I highly recommend going out with Top Dog Charters and Captain Neil.

The weather wasn’t the best and we only caught a few sharks, but there was nothing the captain could do about that. We had a great time. Boat was nice and the captain and mate were awesome and friendly!

Captain Neil knows this fishery. He and his mate Alex worked hard to put is on the fish. What a great day! If I’m fishing Cape Charles area, I’m fishing with the Top Dog!
