Overall, this was not a great experience.  First, the captain gave us no instructions about the boat, where we were going or what we should do.  There was no safety briefing about location of life jackets and other safety equipment.  We had several novice fishermen on board and they were clueless about what to do and were given little help.  Second, the boat is very nice but a few upgrades are needed.  If you have people with weak bladders, there is no head (bathroom) on this boat.  Since we were inshore, the captain made a stop at a local marina half way through the trip.  If we had been offshore, not sure what we would have done.  There is also the need to have a step stool for people who are a little less agile or short.  While all of us were able to get in and out of the boat, it was more difficult than it could have been with a simple small step stool.  Finally, we came away completely empty handed.  While we did catch some fish, none were big enough to keep.  I know that we can never be guaranteed to catch fish big enough to keep but to be out for 4 hours with seven people (including the captain) trying to catch a fish and to come away with nothing, means we were not in the right place.  Overall, a very disappointing day.
