We had a wonderful time with Captain Nick and Glen on our fishing trip in Dana Point. We booked a short trip not knowing how long our two seven year olds and four year old would want to fish, but we plan to book a longer trip with Captain Nick again next year! We had an absolute blast. We caught some white fish, halibut, and even an octopus! The boat was clean, there were snacks and drinks for my kids, and the crew was super friendly. They loved to watch the depth and fish finder on the tv screen. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and we’re already looking forward to next year!

I took my wife out for an afternoon cruise and some fishing for her birthday. The boat and crew were great and knowledgeable. The fishing was very fun.  We caught 30 fish or so and had a great time.  Captain Nick had all the latest fish finding equipment and a screen in the galley where we could see what he sees up top.  He also has a bench topside where we sat to enjoy the view and the sea breeze and learn from Captain Nick.  We will be going out with Captain Nick again.

Nick is the best captain I’ve ever had. He knows all the spots and where to find fish. We were the first boat that got on the bite the day we went out and one of the guys even caught a 60+ pound black cod which we had to release because they are protected but there are pictures attached if it to this review. We also caught about a dozen calico bass which were just under the limit to keep but we did get to keep and eat the two sheepshead that we caught. I can’t wait until peak tuna season to go back out with Nick and catch some more big fish. Just tell Nick what type of fish you want to catch and he will make it happen for you!  Best fishing trip experience of my life and I can’t wait for the next one with Captain Nick!

Captain Nick and Glen were awesome! We caught tons of sea bass and a sheepshead that we could keep. Nick and Glen kept the lines baited and in the water, so you did not miss a minute catching fish. The boat provided great facilities and snacks/drinks provided. Highly recommend this experience!!!
