Richard is an absolute champ. My husband and I had an awesome morning out on the water with him, champagne fishing, and bagging 10 beautiful trout! Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and fun experience! I’m looking at trout recipes and my husband is planning our next fishing trip already. Richard is a top bloke, just the sort of person to spend a Sunday morning fishing with!

Capt Richard and Deckhand Joe were very pleasant and courteous to my grandsons and I. We had never been fishing for trout before and Capt Richard put us right on the fish. It was a great morning reeling in the fish, seeing the Maori rock carvings and swapping yarns about the differences in our countries. Four of us went out with Richard. Caught 12 great rainbows and had a great time. Richard knows his stuff and was great company on the trip.Definitely a highlight of our holiday.
