We had a great time. The boat ride out in the morning was really cold but our fault for not bundling up enough. Payton was very attentive to us and within minutes of stopping we already had a couple of keepers in the boat and even though many of our fish were to small to keep we were pretty steadily catching something all day. Also even when our time should have been up we were still getting bites and payton was willing to stay a little longer while we were catching fish. Would recommend and will definitely book again with him. Just probably on a much much warmer day.

Having fished all over the US, Canada and Mexico with a wide range of guides it was such a treat to be in board with a real pro today!

Peyton knew his stuff when it came to putting us on fish but he also totally understands that catching fish is only part of the experience. This guide is serious about catching fish but, at the same time, pleasant to spend time on the boat with!!!

Had a wonderful fishing trip with Captain Payton.  Would highly recommend Payton and plan to book with him again.  We booked Captain Payton on short notice due to a trip cancelled by a captain who had contracted Covid 19. 

The boat and gear are top notch and Payton was able to put onto some great fishing spots.  Very knowledgeable and experienced.  Was very helpful with our 11 year old granddaughter.  She caught plenty of fish and was extremely thrilled by the experience

Had a blast out on the water with Captain Payton. He has a nice, good sized boat, lots of good gear and live bait, and knows all the good spots. We had a slow start, but he would not settle until we each got a fish on the boat. We each ended up with an awesome Red Drum. Captain Payton is very personable, knowledgeable, and fun to hang out with on the water. Thanks for a great experience that we will never forget!

Enjoyed our trip with Capt Peyton. Caught our limits on reds, caught a 24 inch trout, a few other small fish. Peyton’s boat was awesome and his gear was set up well. I enjoyed how he let us cast our own line and get the overall best experience. Through rain and sunshine he led us to the best spots. Peyton filleted all fish at the end too which is a plus!
