We were very disappointed with the trip. Although it was very windy, which is not an easy condition, we did manage to catch a small snook, a black drum and numerous small non-keeper mangroves. However, he talked incessantly about topics we had no interest in such as guns and cars. Sprinkled in were some good fishing stories, however. Consequently he did not move as frequently as I have experienced with other guides when the bite was not on - just continued yacking away. He would just not shut up.

My guest ended up having to pull up the anchor constantly, not something one expects when you are paying good money for guide service. Both of us are experienced fishermen. However, on the positive side, I would say that he would probably be great if there were kids on board or if you were new to fishing. His boat was nowhere near what I expected given the competition - old and beat up. No power pole or electric trolling motor. Will not rebook.

First bad experience fishing in florida, captain didnt care if we caught fish or not. He was super lazy, and talked about his ex wife the whole time. Made racist jokes, and just made the whole fishing trip uncomfortable. Worst fishing guide ever, please go somewhere else for better experience.

Wasn’t a good experience. Maybe someone else’s trip will be better.
