The captain guaranteed us fish and he delivered. The deckhand was amazing! He helped keep out lines baited, untangled and hooked. He explained how to use the rods along with how saltwater fishing was different than freshwater. He helped make it an amazing trip for my 12yr old.

As a first time offshore charter experience, there were some cons which may be fixed in the future.
-We received a message late the night prior regarding the generator going out and not having A/C. We had already checked into a hotel close by after our 8hr drive and had no other options for a charter as this one was booked so we suffered through it.
-Most photos for this charter are of caught fish and groups. I would have liked to have seen more photos inside/out of the actual boat that was taking us offshore. It wasn’t cramped, but it may have influenced choosing a different charter per layout/accommodations.
-The location for meeting is not correct on this app (thankfully I messaged regarding the correct address). Also, the communication could use some work on where to go and how to find the boat as the office was closed.

Overall, it was a great experience. My child was happy and that was the main point of this trip.

What an exceptional experience! The boat was beautiful, the captain and deck hand were extremely polite, friendly, and professional. I feel like I got a good chunk of my money’s worth in education just from talking to them. Our trip was a 3 hour trolling trip with myself, my wife, and our four children. My son and I are the only two who are really interested in fishing, but everyone had a blast. The captain was upfront when I booked and told me we should view this as a fun boat ride with the possibility of catching fish, but not to set a high expectation on catching lots of fish, because a trolling trip this close to shore can be a big gamble. The gamble paid off big time for us. We barely arrived on site to the first planned location and had a fish on. We then stayed at that location for our entire time and ended up with 8 very well-sized Mackerel. Everybody got to pull one in and even the kids (and wife) who don’t care for fishing had a great time. This truly was the best fishing experience we’ve ever had and there isn’t a single thing anybody could’ve done to make it better. I’ll book with this crew every time I’m back in the area without even considering anyone else. Catching fish was obviously fun, but a great crew is what really made it enjoyable.

Crew was great.  Was able to put us on the fish right away after we got off shore.  Cleaned the fish when we were done.  Had a great time and would use them again when we come back to Gulf Shores for vacation.

We had a great afternoon 6hr trip. We were looking forward to catching big red snappers for first time deep sea fishing. And Fish On charters did just that. Overall was a great experience, we went out just hoping to leave with a first time catch, and ended the day picking which was the biggest to keep. Was a smooth ride, good vibes, and great memories! 10/10 will be using them again!
