I recently reserved a fishing trip for my friends, and while I couldn’t join them, their feedback was fantastic! They had an amazing time and caught plenty of fish, a clear sign of a successful outing.

Captain Philip stood out as an exceptional guide, combining expertise with a friendly demeanor. They described him as a great captain who made the experience enjoyable and memorable, skillfully accommodating anglers of all levels.

The beautiful water and overall atmosphere added to their enjoyment. If they return for another fishing adventure, they’ll definitely be asking for Captain Philip again. I highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to have a great time on the water!

We had a 4-hour charter with Captain Phillip, as a party of 4.  We caught our limit—10 per person—of vermillion snapper, as well as about 20 triggerfish that didn’t make the size cutoff, but were terrific fighters.  Phillip gave everyone as much help as they wanted/needed, and seemed to have 6 hands when things got fast!  The boat was in great shape, and Phillip cleaned our catch back at the dock.  We feasted on snapper that night, and took home enough (frozen) for several more meals.  I would absolutely book with Captain Phillip again, and will next time we are in Destin.

Being a retired from the Coast Guard and taking my son and nephew on there first Deep Sea fishing trip, it was amazing. 
Captain Philips was very professional and did a great job of putting us on the fish.  He is a very calm chill captain and we will definitely charter him again.

Captain Phillip took me and my 11 year old son out and we had a blast. I realize there are no guarantees to catch, but Capt Phillip put us on the fish from the moment we left the dock.  The boat was nice and in very good shape. Although neither me or my son get seasick, it was a very smooth ride, despite a bit of chop while we were out.  Capt Phillip facilitated a great experience by doing all the tough work from start to finish and was great company to share a day fishing with. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun fishing trip. Definitely family friendly. Will use 850 again if we return to the area.

This was our very first fishing charter, and it far exceeded our expectations! My wife, our 13-year-old son, and I booked a half-day outing with Captain Phillip—and it was an absolute blast. As complete novices, we really appreciated how laid-back, patient, and knowledgeable Captain Phillip was. He made us feel comfortable right away, and the whole trip was relaxed, fun, and incredibly memorable.

The boat was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, and we were thrilled to catch several nice fish throughout the trip. Our four-hour trip flew by, and honestly, our only regret was not booking a full day. That said, the half-day turned out to be perfect for us. We finished the trip energized and wanting more—not exhausted and ready to be done. It was a great balance, especially for beginners.

We can’t wait to go again and would 100% recommend this experience to anyone, especially families or first-timers.
