Sorry your trip did not meet your expections. You arrived late, the captain graciously held the boat for your family to board, in turn the crew had to make up the extra 10 min, giving up a portion of their lunch hr. so the rest of the customers that arrived on time would have the entire 4 hrs . We also did not charge you for the extra angler you had booked for,and allowed you to board with out charging so the crew would have the least amount of time to make up. When customers arrive on time, it gives the crew a chance to greet you, get you set up with equipment, and introduce themselves,and how they will be helping you. I am hopeful that many people will read my response to your one star review and incidentally the only other one star review Flamingo received was from a man we held the boat for, “like you” . The moral of this response is no good deed goes unpunished

Sorry you had the worst fishing trip. We do get slow trips and Monday was one. Often I have to say it is fishing and although we hope to always catch, wind and current aren’t always co-operative. You were late,  the lines were off and the boat backing away from the dock. The Capt. came back, and got you on board. The crew made up those 15 min of you arriving late, as all the other customers were on time and they shouldn’t be penilized. I also had 2 other couples that came by the booth to say they didn’t catch but had a wonderful morning with our crew.

Mr. Karlsen, Sorry for the misunderstanding on price. The adult price is $40.00, children 6-12 yrs are $30.00. That is $110.00, you paid a deposit of $19.00 which I deducted off the $110.00, I charged you $91.00 plus 6% tax = $96.46. I checked the credit card slip and it reflects that charge. You had no printout or a confirmation no. So I went by the name you booked under to check the deposit .  Yes, the catching was slow yesterday afternoon. We offer deep sea fishing on the drift, and the 2 variables we fish by daily are wind and current. Our goal is to offer our anglers a good experience , and we are sorry that was not your experience.
