Sorry you didn’t enjoy the trip. I spoke with you the day before and explained since it was going to be so windy due to the cold front pushing through, we were going to have to fish in the rivers in protected area.

I do have fish sonar. I know you were wanting to catch Grouper, but I fish inshore waters and do not fish for grouper. Sonar is effective fishing deep water offshore for grouper, but not in water that is 8’ or less.

I helped you guys cast all morning as dropping it straight over the side isn’t effective, and helped you guys get around. I was on my phone some talking to the other captains to see if anyone else was having luck. One of the other captains caught 1 redfish.

We caught several fish and even hooked a Tarpon, just nothing edible.
