Capt and mate put a lot of effort in to get us on fish. Unfortunately the trolling didn’t produce but they switched gears and got us on some bottom fish. Went home with some good eating fish. Both capt and mate work hard and are very fun to be around. Note watch what type of sunscreen you bring. Not the B word not kind :)

Captain Gill immediately responded to my request to book a charter through Apex Predator and even went as far as rescheduling due to inclement weather to assure us a great experience. Captain Gill was very accommodating to the request that this fishing trip was to honor my fathers last request. Captain Gill and first Mate Hunter meet us at the boat and were very friendly and eager to show us a great experience. They were very informative and knowledgeable of the waters and fish in the area. Once we reached our fishing destination first Mate Hunter worked very hard at maintaining the lines and helping us with whatever we needed while aboard the boat. After a great fishing experience catching several Tuna and Mahi Captain Gill took us to a perfect spot and stopped the boat to allow us time to say good bye to my father. Captain Gill went above and beyond giving us flowers to lay in the water as we released my fathers ashes and a card thanking us for allowing Apex Predator to be a part of our experience and memories. The card also contained the coordinates of where we released my father. I highly recommend this family run father-son Charter. You will have nothing less than a GREAT experience!

The five of us on the trip had a great time. Only two of us had ever been on a deep sea fishing venture before.
The captain and first mate made things easy and fun for us . We caught 10 fish including seven mahi-mahi, two tuna and a king mackerel. That was more than any boat I’ve been on.
