Spring morning trip

My only complaint is that everything says the boat leaves at 6AM but nothing says that it is an hour ride to the fishing spot. By the time we got to where we were going to fish, it was bright and sunny and the fish weren't biting. The six hour trip was really only four hours of fishing and we only caught three fish, one of which was below limit. The captain and the mate were nice and friendly and they filleted the fish for us.

    Great afternoon!

    We booked an afternoon fishing trip about a month out. Our skeptical daughter had a great time. She learned how to cast, using live bait and lures. She ended up catching the most! Due to the season we only caught perch, despite being taunted by some rockfish we saw swimming past the boat! The captain and first mate were fantastic! It was such a fun and memorable trip. We cannot recommend Capt. Mike enough! He knows so much history and information about the area, we learned a lot about the bay and its surroundings while fishing. Currently planning on booking another trip later in the year during mackerel and rockfish season!
