Half day fishing trip with my 11 year old son

My son and I went on a half day fishing excursion with Captain Mike. The boat was great and had everything we needed. We caught bait with a net and then fished. We caught 12 fish (mostly Red Fish). The largest was 28" long! We kept several of the medium sized fish and Mike cleaned and filet them for us. My son and I made a delicious dinner for the family. We would definitely go on a charter with Captain Mike again! We highly recommend the trip.

    We had an outstanding day on the water with Captain Mike! He was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly where to find the fish. Throughout the trip, we caught around 20 fish, including redfish, speckled trout, and triggerfish, which made for an exciting and memorable experience. What impressed us even more was how patient and encouraging Captain Mike was with my 9-year-old daughter. He took the time to help her, made sure she felt included, and helped make the trip enjoyable for everyone. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, friendly captain who works hard to put you on fish while creating a great experience for the whole family, I highly recommend Captain Mike. We’ll definitely be booking another trip with him!

    Captain Mike was the best charter captain we’ve ever worked with. Not only was he knowledgeable about putting us on fish, he was welcoming and made our day truly enjoyable. He educated us about the waters and area of Beaufort. At the end of our trip he cleaned our fish and we had a delicious fish dinner that night. We would HIGHLY recommend a trip with Captain Mike.

    We had enjoyed our tripped, but we hoped we could keep more than 4 fishes. The trip overall was wonderful and Mike was a wonderful Captain.

    Good day on the water.

    We went on a four hour charter with Captain Mike in June. The fishing was okay at best. We fished for red drum with mud minnows. We caught about 4 drum and a stingray. Mike was very knowledgeable and shared lots of fishing tips with us. He was attentive to our rods and helped us learn how to saltwater fish. He moved our day and time to try and get us the best fishing window possible for this time of year. We will book again. Thanks Mike
