Half day with Captain Nuno
We did a half day with Capt Nuno sailing from Funchal. I have two young children so needed a kid friendly trip to ensure they had fun! First, Captain Nuno suggested we change the day as seas were rough and would have been more challenging for kids. He was extremely flexible and moved it to a late afternoon trip so it was less challenging for the kids. Boat was excellent as was equipment. Kids pulled up a load of Snapper, Bream and Grouper on bait with the 10 year old pulling up 3kg red snapper on bait. We also did some slow jigging and picked up a few really nice sized red snapper. The largest one unfortunately pulled the hook! Awesome trip. Kids were kept really active and I had a few really good size fish on nice light tackle. Captain Nuno and his crew were superb and boat and equipment excellent. Very easy to find and arrange. We will definitely be back and fish again with Madeira Sea Fishing next year. Highly recommended for family fishing day (or adult day if you want to only chase the larger ones!)
